Fuelled by Females is bringing a variety of hands-on, nature-inspired workshops to the Little Lavender Festival! Book a workshop and receive FREE festival entry—a perfect day of creativity, community, and lavender bliss!

You will receive a pre made kit with everything you need and will be guided through the steps to complete the tote bag.
COST: $70

Hand quilting workshop with Anishinaabe textile artist, Carrie Benson
Spend a beautiful day outside and learn how to make your very own Ohio Star quilt block. With beginner friendly stitches and advanced quilting techniques, you’ll finish your quilt block by adding it to a canvas tote bag (provided) or an item of your choosing!
Carrie provides step by step instructions, helpful tips, templates for you to take home and make more for your friends and family.
We encourage all participants to bring anything they would like to add a little life to, for example: a jean jacket, hoodies or plain cushion cover. The possibilities are endless!
Full kits include: 5 pre-cut coordinating cotton fabrics, 2 hand needles, thread and templates. Scissors and chalk pencils will be provided. Totes are available for those who chose not to bring an item from home.
