• The Giving Place is located at 19618 E Townline, Mount Albert, Ontario.

  • The Giving Place operates seasonally, with specific hours for events, volunteer days, and open visits. Hours may vary, so we recommend checking our social media or website for the most up-to-date schedule. We open for each season mid to late May, and close each season mid to late October.

  • Yes, parking is available on-site. Please park in our parking lot, North of our farm sign and through the gates. Please follow posted signs or instructions when you arrive, as parking areas may vary depending on the event or time of year.

  • Lavender is typically at its peak bloom from late June through mid to late July, depending on the weather each season. We have lavender varieties that can bloom right through August depending on the weather.

  • As much as we would love to allow pets, in order to protect the peace and safety of our rescue farm animals, we maintain a no dog/pet policy. On behalf of TGP Team & our rescue animals, we thank you for your understanding!

  • We strive to make The Giving Place as welcoming and accessible as possible. Our farm is an outdoor, natural space, so terrain is uneven in some areas. If you have specific accessibility questions or requirements, we please reach out ahead of your visit so we can best support you.

  • We generally operate rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather, events and workshops may be rescheduled or adjusted. We will communicate any changes in advance via email and/or social media whenever possible.
